The process is simple:
1. Arrange a site visit with an installer
Contact the preferred installer listed at the top of your quote and arrange a visit to your property. They’ll confirm measurements and ensure the quoted hardware is suitable for your site.
No preferred installer listed? No problem — just ask us for the nearest installer to you. You’re also welcome to use your own contractor.
2. Obtain an installation quote
Your installer will provide a quote for the installation work. Be sure to discuss any additional requirements such as concreting, power supply, or automation wiring if needed.
3. Confirm you’re ready to proceed
Once you’re happy with both our hardware quote and the installer’s quote, let us know and we’ll get your project underway.
Southern Gates supplies gates and hardware only — we do not carry out or manage installations.
This approach keeps costs lower, gives you flexibility to choose your preferred installer, and often results in faster lead times.
We understand some customers prefer a full one-stop-shop service, and while that can suit some projects, it will often come at a higher overall cost.
